synopsis: every day in the life of Fidel González begins and ends in the same place, the cemetery of San Antonio de los Baños, a small town in western Cuba. Since 1994, Fidel has been the only gravedigger in town. So regardless of schedules or holidays, he must always be available to bury and exhume all the dead in his community. Despite his hard work, his salary is not enough to buy his own home. For three years he has been sleeping in the only habitable room in the cemetery, the common bone deposit. This film accompanies from the observation of an ordinary day in the life of a man who interacts daily and indiscriminately with the living and the dead.
